Badhara

Badhara (also spelled Badara) refers to the Indian jujube plant (Ziziphus jujuba / Ziziphus mauritiana), a fruit‑bearing tree widely used in Ayurveda and traditional medicine. Its fruits, leaves, bark, and roots are valued for their nutritive and medicinal properties, including digestive support, blood purification, antioxidant effects, and immune enhancement. In Ayurvedic practice, Badara is also used for respiratory health, fever management, diarrhea relief, and general vitality, and is often included in herbal formulations and dietary uses
